sometimes i think the people who invented things like brownies and cheesecakes were stumped for names. yea, but makes it alot easier for us plebians. i think brownie points for simple names, rather than something like french-ish and not as easy to relate to..like truffles and souffles. yes.
anyhow, brownies for weichung and louis' birthday potluck at sentosa tmr!! (: sugar, chocolate chips and chocolate --> the essential in a brownie i believe. baking is a messy yet artistic form of expression. its just therapeutic knowing that even tho the start and process looks like a mess, if you've got a great recipe, the end result will still be just as yummy. (:
